Graeme Hands

Graeme Hands
Graeme Hands is well known to Newcastle and Hunter audiences through a most impressive and wide - ranging repertoire of Musical theatre and concert performance. He has been a recipient of several scholarships from the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music and has been awarded a City of Newcastle Service Award and a Centenary Medal for "the sharing of singing and theatrical talent”. Graeme has performed for many of Newcastle's theatre companies and for such vocal groups as King's Companye, La Capella, The Hunter Consort of Voices, and the Waratah Choral Ensemble. He has sung the Bass solo in Handel's Messiah for Newcastle City Choir. Graeme's theatrical performances have included such roles as Don Lockwood in Singin' in the Rain, Cornelius Hackle in Hello Dolly, Billy in Anything Goes, Patrick in Mame, Mercury in Orpheus in the Underworld, Roger in Grease, Chu Chin Chow in Chu Chin Chow, Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof, Skye Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Geoffrey in Stepping Out , Lancelot in Camelot & Sparafucile in Opera Hunter's production of Rigoletto. He has been a member of the acclaimed Cabaret troupe 'After Five' for the past 10 years and now lives at Toukley on the Central Coast.
