 Lisa Kinna’s extensive musical experience includes theatre, jazz, opera and piano lounge. Recent performances have been, Hammerstein to Lloyd Webber (2008) and The Roaring 30’s (2007) soiree with Maitland Arts Council, a French Valentine’s Dinner (2008 soiree for Newcastle Festival Opera), Paris to Berlin (2007 concert with Orchestra Nova) and regular jazz vocalist with the Dungeon Jazz Band (Glen Miller-style band). In the world of cabaret Lisa has performed twice at the annual Sydney Theatre Company Cabaret night and at the Sydney Cabaret Convention, Town Hall. In the world of theatre Lisa has toured nationally and internationally with the Sydney Theatre Company and featured in musicals such as Les Miserables, Blood Brothers (two Conda nominations) and the opera The Marriage of Figaro. Lisa has worked in many international hotels (Regent, Sheridan and Marriott, Sydney) as their resident pianist/vocalist. Currently, Lisa teaches contemporary/jazz voice at the Conservatorium, Newcastle and is delighted to be a part of NFO’s The Magic Flute.<09/09> |
